Malta offers attractive immigration programs through which we can assist you obtain a permanent residence permit or the citizenship of Malta through investments.

Citizenship
Any individual can apply for the citizenship of Malta provided that they satisfy certain financial and qualitative criteria.
Financial criteria
The paid applicant should be able to demonstrate that they satisfy the following financial criteria:
Property
The applicant should purchase a property in Malta of a minimum value of €350,000 which should be held for at least 5 years or, alternatively, lease a property in Malta for at least 5 years at a minimum annual rent of €16,000.
Investment
The applicant should Invest in Malta for at least 5 years the mimimum amount of €150,000 in stocks, bonds, debentures or in a number of other approved investments.
Contribution
Each application involves the following contributions to the Maltese government:
(a) for the main applicant: €650,000
(b) for the spouse: €25,000
(c) for each child below 18 years of age: €25,000
(d) for each dependent unmarried child between 18 and 26 years of age: €50,000
(e) for each parent above 55 years of age: €50,000.
Qualitative criteria
In addition to the above financial criteria the following qualitative criteria should also be satisfied:
- Main applicants should be at least 18 years of age.
- Main applicants and their dependents should be in good health.
- Main applicants and their dependents should have clean criminal records and satisfy the due diligence requirements of the program.
- Main applicants must be able to demonstrate that they have been residing in Malta and have effective links to Malta before naturalization.
Please also note that applications should be submitted to the relevant authority via an accredited person.
Permanent Residence Permits
The Malta Residence and Visa Program (MRVP) allows third country nationals and their dependents to obtain permanent residence permits enabling them to live in Malta but to also travel freely within the Schengen area.
As with the citizenship program, financial and qualitative criteria apply:
Financial criteria
The paid applicant should be able to demonstrate that they satisfy the following financial criteria:
Property
The applicant should purchase a property in Malta of a minimum value of €270,000 to €320,000 (depending on the area) which should be held for at least 5 years, or, alternatively, lease a property in Malta for at least 5 years at a minimum annual rent of €10,000 to €12,000 (depending on the area).
Investment
The main applicant should Invest in Malta for at least 5 years the minimum amount of €250,000 in one of the approved investments.
Contribution
The main applicant should pay a contribution of €30,000.
Foreign sourced annual income
The main applicant must have an annual income of at least €100,000 arising outside of Malta or have in their possession a capital of at least €500,000.
Qualitative criteria
In addition to the above financial criteria the following qualitative criteria should also be satisfied:
- Main applicants should be at least 18 years of age.
- Main applicants and their dependents should have health insurance policies and valid travel documents.
- Main applicants and their dependents should have clean criminal records and satisfy the due diligence requirements of the program.
